The WordPress Web Developer will manage our web presence, including maintaining servers, ensuring the site is functional, aesthetically aligned, and updated regularly.
You’ll have a generalist spirit and firm grasp of digital and print content creation and design. You’ll be proactive and efficient, requiring limited oversight to perform at a high level. You’ll collaborate efficiently and effectively with members of the team and external vendors to ensure creative, brand-focused content is being created and used well in all of our communications.
What You’ll Do
- Proactively determine our website needs
- Help build, test, and maintain user-friendly, appealing web pages with a high degree of functionality
- Coordinate with the team to create compelling content
- Implement and ensure security features
- Maintain servers and address complaints in a timely, friendly manner
- Monitor and analyze website performance and find areas of improvement
- Review SEO and keep website content updated and current
- Determine client website needs and requirements
- Maintain a generalist mentality and create graphic and print creative content
- Produce engaging designs and digital assets for the website and other communications campaigns
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of programming languages and operating systems
- Ability to use website management tools and programs
- Previous online marketing or SEO experience a plus
- Familiarity with CSS
- WordPress and Website Builder experience
- Understanding of JavaScript
- 3+ years graphic, print and web design experience required
