Web Designer

Done For You Technology is seeking a part-time Website Designer that is comfortable and proficient in creating designs and websites that resonate with our clientele’s brand and is flexible to accommodate feedback, style preferences, and can easily transition between multiple projects at a time.

The perfect candidate would design functional, responsive, and strongly branded websites, including e-commerce, and be able to identify opportunities to develop creative solutions with strong impacts.

The ideal candidate will:

• Manage and prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines

• Be skilled at computer graphic software with the ability to design and conceptualize new ideas

• Demonstrate experience creating and designing Wordpress websites utilizing front-end visual builders, such as Divi, including e-commerce

• Contribute high quality stock images if needed in situations where the clientele does not provide enough of their own images to work with

• Be skilled at choosing font pairings that work well together to create a site that is visually appealing and engaging, while matching clientele’s brand and personality

• Be able to communicate and ask for support in a team environment

• Be flexible, innovative, self-motivated, and hungry to grow

We are looking to hire someone that is innovative in nature, self-motivated, possesses a high degree of integrity and is entrepreneurial in spirit. Must have a strong portfolio of practical work experience and be able to work 5-10 hours per week when project demand necessitates it.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Web Design, Graphic Design, or related field

• Experience with front-end responsive web design and creation utilizing Wordpress and the no-code builder plugin Divi

• Knowledge of CSS, HTML, and JavaScript is a bonus

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign is a bonus

• Willingness to take creative direction and lead

• Excellent planning, scheduling, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple short and long-term projects requiring creativity and ingenuity

• Self-Starter with the ability to produce draft concepts for review before final execution

• A willingness to embrace change and to adapt strategies on the fly

• Desire to continually learn the latest technology tools and design innovations

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 – $50.00 per hour
