Wealth Coach (Part-Time) – OneEleven – Remote Part Time

Our Wealth Coaching® membership makes successful money management simple and easy through a combination of educational video lessons, custom financial plans, regular progress tracking, and coaching.

Job Overview – Wealth Coach (Part-Time)

The focus of this role will be to guide, inspire, and motivate clients to implement changes necessary to achieve their desired financial goals. You will use our proprietary software and work closely with a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM to implement custom plans and focus specifically on the early stages of financial planning like goal setting, budgeting, building credit, and starting an emergency fund.

You’ll communicate with clients throughout the day via in-app chat, SMS, phone or video chat. You’ll also use task management software and email to follow up with clients. We are a fast growing startup and there is potential for full-time employment for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in early-stage financial planning
• Proactively engage clients to ensure their needs are met and they have an overall positive experience with OneEleven
• Establish trust with clients and put them at ease
• Communicate and involve clients to ensure their custom/proprietary financial plan is in line with their goals, that they understand and agree to the goals and are accountable to achieve them
• Discuss any obstacles and identify solutions/actions for resolving them
• Keep clients up to date on their progress and constantly motivate them

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• 1-2 years of coaching experience e.g. teacher, guidance counselor, sports coach, team captain, personal trainer
• Strong motivator using coaching techniques and an outgoing personality
• Exposure to banking/finance environment e.g. personal banker, teller, call center representative or basic understanding of banking products and accounting concepts
• Possess a genuine passion for people and desire to help them achieve their goals
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills; being a good listener
• Good organization skills with excellent attention to details
• An interest in personal finance with a desire for continuous learning
• Technology and social media savvy including proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
• Being a great team player
