Responsibilities:
– Review monthly write-ups
– Business and personal income tax preparation.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years experience preparing business and personal tax returns (1120, 1120-S, 1065, 1040); must have MN tax expertise.
· Licensed CPA or Enrolled Agent. CPA candidate will be considered depending on experience level.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Must enjoy helping small business owners.
· Be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
· Small firm accounting experience a plus.
Position is part-time (20-30 hours/week during tax season) and fully remote. No weekends or evenings; choose your own schedule. Work from wherever you want.
We are looking for an Enrolled Agent or CPA w/tax experience to help process federal and state tax returns. If you are looking to wind down towards retirement, or burnt out on long hours and overtime, this is a perfect position for you!
