Talent Engagement Coordinator – Blackmere Consulting – Remote Part Time

Our Talent Engagement Coordinator will support the recruitment function of Blackmere by providing full-cycle recruiting support by monitoring candidate and client communication and reporting talent acquisition metrics.

You will be responsible for knowing exactly what’s going on with every aspect of recruiting operations and serve as a point of contact for team members.

This person will contribute ideas to our recruitment strategy, execute online and offline engagement efforts with prospective applicants, and may engage with clients from some of the most important organizations in the industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support recruiters and operations in performing recruitment activities such as preparing job announcements, screening resumes, communicating with applicants, and scheduling interviews
• Assist with market research and analysis that will inform recruitment strategy
• Engage in recruitment operations as necessary including candidate coordination, scheduling, and reference/background check gathering
• Work closely with both operations and marketing to ensure cohesive information flow and on-brand messaging
• Utilize the applicant tracking system for OFCCP documentation and contribute to ongoing process improvements for compliance purposes
• Assist the CEO, leadership team, and our team of technical recruiters in administrative and organizational tasks as well as larger projects as needed
• Assist recruitment team with creative candidate research and documentation
• Work closely with the Director of Operations for new employee onboarding
• Schedule pre-employment testing and screening processes
• Schedule new employee orientations and help coordinate new hire on-boarding
• Monitor and report on key recruitment and retention metrics
• Assist with appropriately and accurately tracking candidate progress in the applicant tracking system through the hiring process
• Maintain confidentiality and confidential documents
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in operations and coordination functions in an office environment
• High energy, organized, self-motivated, ever-curious, and proactive individual
• Ability to handle a dynamic environment and deliver on whatever comes up
• Strong desire to maintain the highest level of customer service
• Proficient in Microsoft Office systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and prior experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Apple work software including Pages, Numbers, and Keynote preferred
• Use of G-Suite for Business and Google Drive and other online productivity tools
• Proven ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with employees and external contacts
• Professional demeanor including outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities and outstanding attention to detail
• A highly accountable individual with the ability to appropriately prioritize work
• Flexible attitude in dealing with changing priorities
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working within a small and scaling team
• Must be a self-starter with a problem solver’s mindset always trying to improve on process
• Must enjoy candidate research, passive candidate outreach, and be able to work in a fast-paced, high-activity environment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to self-monitor; meeting deadlines and working with little supervision and with a positive attitude
• Ability to work well remotely with a designated workspace that is free of distractions

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of recruitment experience or coordination
• 1-3 years of previous recruitment agency or experience working in a technical recruitment environment
• Experience working with a remote team
• Experience working in a technical recruitment agency environment
