THERAkids, P.C. is the largest contract company in southwestern Illinois that provides occupational, physical and speech therapy services to special education cooperatives and school districts. We are currently hiring Speech Language Pathologist(s) for school districts within Southern Illinois. This is a school-based position for the 2022-23 school year. The chosen candidate must have both his/her Illinois License and PEL (Non-teaching Pre K- age 21) Responsibilities include:
- Implement appropriate speech therapy services to support the goals and objectives of a student’s IEP.
- Monitors student’s response to intervention via individual tracking logs.
- Maintain student records (e.g. progress reports, service logs) to ensure compliance with state, federal and district guidelines.
- Record billable treatment times and provides documentation for students receiving MEDICAID according to school district guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings held within the district in which the therapist is assigned.
- Have accessibility to technology required for teletherapy services (internet, computer, microphone, etc.)
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (teaching staff, occupational therapists, physical therapists, social work, psychologists, administrators) to address students’ needs through training and consultation.
Teletherapy experience is preferred but not required. Current Illinois license is required. Hours are flexible and salary is competitive! Come join our amazing team!
