The Journal of Medical Insight (JOMI) has a vision to improve patient outcomes by publishing high-quality video articles of cutting-edge and standard-of-care surgical procedures. These surgical video articles feature top teaching physicians and are geared toward surgeons, students, and/or staff.
About the Job:
We are seeking a software developer to join our team. As a developer joining our small team, you will assist us in finishing the rebuild and upkeep of our new system alongside continuously rolling out new features.
We are currently operating on the following stack:
- TypeScript
- React
- Next.js
- Node.js
- MongoDB
- GraphQL
- Strapi
What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years experience working with full stack development.
- Experience working with some or all of our tech stack.
- A solid portfolio of experience building web services.
- Astute technical foundation with ability to pick up new skills and adapt quickly.
- A commitment to software craftsmanship.
- A good understanding of UI/UX.
- Fluent or near fluent English.
What will make you stand out:
- Experience working remotely.
- Experience working at startups.
Other Responsibilities:
- Work with the CEO and senior team to ensure that the tech stack evolves with business architecture models reflecting the organization’s strategies and goals.
- Understand, evaluate, contribute to internal functions, business development strategies, and IT processes.
