SharePoint Trainer – GXM Consulting LLC – Remote Part Time

The Army Futures Command (AFC) is seeking a SharePoint trainer for our ongoing Microsoft 365/SharePoint needs, and for critical training needs for staff unfamiliar with the capabilities of SharePoint Online and PowerApps. This is a short-term position which can be either full time or part time. The candidate must have experience using, building or maintaining SharePoint sites – both on premise SharePoint and cloud-hosted SharePoint Online (Government cloud), as well as experience building complex workflows utilizing SharePoint and Microsoft PowerAutomate Flow.

Responsibilities:

GXM’s client is in the process of migrating from SP 16 to SPO. The ideal candidate will articulate the new features found in SPO and O365 and how to best use those new features as staff migrate from SP 16 to the new environment. The expected length of this work effort is six months with the possibility of an extension depending on the needs of the project. The role will mostly be remote with some expectation of face-to-face training events. This position will:

• Formulate training materials for SharePoint Online clients, PowerApps, and Teams
• Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions for SharePoint Online clients, PowerApps, and Teams
• Prepare FAQs and other supporting materials for users
• Develop and build training videos

Requirements:

• This position requires that you be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before your designated start date, unless an exemption from this requirement has been granted as an accommodation by GXM for religious or medical reasons
• U.S. citizenship required
• Proficient with Microsoft SharePoint 2016 and SPO, PowerApps and Teams
• Strong knowledge of high-level use cases and requirements documents
• Exceptional ability to quickly get an end-to-end view of the business requirements and systems architecture
• Ability to organize information, manage tasks and projects
• Ability to complete detailed tasks
• Skilled at preparing templates and sample products
• Excellent speaking and writing skills
• Self-starter able to recognize knowledge deficiencies amongst client staff and offer solutions to remedy those deficiencies

Desired Skills:

• Secret clearance
• Previous work with government entities
• Experience administrating SPO installations
• Experience writing PowerApps
• Experience migrating from on-prem SP to SPO
