What You Will Do:
- Conduct online classes for kids (14-17 years old) on our platform
- Run classes with the use of YaizY platform and methodological guidance
- Engage students, maintain friendly and comfortable teamwork
- Track and maintain the quality of the educational process
- Provide kids and their parents with feedback on classes
Specific duties:
- Conduct classes in Unity Game Engine
- Explain game design and programming concepts in an engaging and accessible manner
- Provide creative and professional supervision of students’ projects
Requirements
Essential Role Requirements:
- Proficiency in English
- BA Degree or equivalent professional experience in game development (preferred) or other software development
- 1 year experience teaching 20+ students online
- Background and interest in game development, game design and related industries
- Unity Game Engine proficiency and proven experience creating projects with it
- Basic knowledge of the C# programming language or advanced knowledge of another
OOP language (Java, C++)
- Basic experience with Blender
- Experience or a strong desire to work at a startup
- Strong passion for interacting with kids
- Track record of reliability and sense of responsibility
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Must have strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with a variety of middle and high school students, including students from diverse backgrounds and with varying levels of English language proficiency
- Valid work authorization in the US
Specific qualification:
- Knowledge of game design principles
- Understanding of game development processes and stages
