What You Will Do:
- Conduct online classes for kids (14-17 years old) on our platform
- Run classes with the use of YaizY platform and methodological guidance
- Engage students, maintain friendly and comfortable teamwork
- Track and maintain the quality of the educational process
- Provide kids and their parents with feedback on classes
Specific duties:
- Conduct classes on Chrome OS and in Python environment
- Explain basic computer and programming concepts in an engaging and accessible manner
Requirements
Essential Role Requirements:
- Proficiency in English
- 1 year experience teaching 20+ students online
- Background and interest in IT industry
- Computer proficiency
- Extensive knowledge of all major areas of modern informational technologies including networks and web, programming, cyber security, digital etiquette
- Knowledge of Python programming language and proven experience in creating projects in it
- Experience or a strong desire to work at a startup
- Strong passion for interacting with kids
- Track record of reliability and sense of responsibility
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Must have strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with a variety of middle and high school students, including students from diverse backgrounds and with varying levels of English language proficiency
- Valid work authorization in the US
Specific qualification:
- BA Degree or equivalent professional experience in computer science
Knowledge of different operating systems
- Frontend web development experience
