Senior Full-Stack Drupal Developer (Part Time 1099 or W-2) – DSoft Technology, Engineering & Analysis – Remote Part Time

DSoft Technology’s growing web / content management system (CMS) practice needs an experienced and talented Senior Full-Stack Drupal Developer to design and deliver solutions that bring the “wow” factor to market using the Drupal platform. If you are comfortable working up and down “the stack”, architecting solutions to meet client requirements, and have experience with helping a team to stay organized and maintain quality output, we think you’ll find this position truly rewarding.

Preferred work location is our Colorado Springs office but a remote work arrangement may be considered. This role is anticipated to require 15-30 hours per week depending on our project pipeline needs. As the portfolio grows, this could become a full-time salaried position.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Eight+ years of demonstrated experience developing in Drupal 7/8/9 full-stack and successfully deploying to a hosting environment
• Demonstrated experience with making recommendations on the use of new and emerging technologies. Programming, graphic design, database familiarity, and search optimization are all elements of this position.
• A passion for helping a team succeed on our current and upcoming software development projects for commercial clients.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of web development and technologies (e.g., HTTP, REST, cURL, basic networking)
• In-depth knowledge of current JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML
• Experience with Git and workflows, CLI tools, CI, Agile, and Jira
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

What You Will Do:

• Architect technical solutions in Drupal that address our clients’ business challenges
• Direct the technical work in an Agile environment; lead junior developers and assist with their professional skill growth
• Facilitate code review, pull requests, and merging
• Troubleshoot system issues
• Develop enhancements and tests for existing applications and systems
• Integrate systems with several RESTful APIs (internal and external)

Desired Skills – What Will Set You Apart:

• Certified Scrum Master
• Willingness to learn new and disparate technologies
• Hands-on web design and development with Umbraco is a plus
• Experience working with Federal agencies in a position of Public Trust or a position requiring a security clearance
