The need for NextGroup services both for women who are shifting or re-entering the workforce and for organizations who need their talent has never been greater. That’s why NextGroup is expanding. We are looking to bring on a Part-Time Recruiter/Search Associate to work alongside the firm’s founders (Candance Chow and Melanie Wright) and provide full lifecycle support for the search/recruiting process with our clients.
Job Brief
Our Remote Search Associate will come on board on a part-time contract to hire basis to drive full-cycle recruiting efforts. The remote Recruiter/Search Associate will join a small but might team with seasoned business leaders who are committed to transforming the workplace for women. You will serve as a true business partner in advancing this mission and will play an integral role in the growth of the business. From sourcing both passive and network candidates through interviewing and offer extension, the Remote Search Associate will manage a search load of about 5-7 positions and will oversee the recruitment process with support/guidance from the firm’s founders.

Recruiter/Search Associate Role Objectives
Work closely with founders to understand the client’s hiring needs for each position, and determine the best strategy to deliver on these needs.
Manage the full lifecycle recruiting across a variety of client searches that cross industry and functional lines.
Grow and foster high-touch relationships with a database of qualified active and passive female talent to pull from as new positions open up.
Stay active with the NextGroup talent network and other referral partners, platforms, social networks and job board to identify new talent and promote open jobs descriptions/announcements
Bring new ideas and processes to NextGroup as we grow and scale our ability to serve women who are launching and changing careers.
Daily and Weekly Responsibilities
Source both active and passive candidates through a variety of methods including internet LinkedIn, job boards, networking, social media, organizations/events and other creative strategies.
Develop and release job postings on NextGroup website and other platforms, such as social media and job boards
Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of hiring needs for frequently recruited for positions, including reaching out to members of our talent network proactively.
Screen resumes, interview candidates (by phone or in person) and recommend top candidates to clients for consideration. Coordinate client interviews and candidate follow up as needed. Facilitate hiring decision with client and coordinate offer extension.
Maintain NextGroup talent database both during and after the search cycle to ensure learnings about candidates, regardless of search outcomes, are preserved for future use, and to provide coaching and feedback to women in our talent network.
Promotes positive relationships and strong partnerships to respect and protect both the client and the candidate experience.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications or related field
Strong work ethic and sense of urgency, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
Ability to quickly develop strong working relationships
Proven experience conducting various types of interviews (i.e., phone, video, etc.)
Knowledge of social media, database management, and internet search tools
The mind of a detective, marketer and researcher with a desire to find the right talent for every client and the right employer for every candidate
Experience and/or interest in becoming a LinkedIn Recruiter expert
Strong commitment to recruiting and building diverse teams
Background in finance/accounting, marketing/comms, administrative/ops and/or legal industries/search desired
Additional Details About the Opportunity
Flexible and part-time work structure with commitment of 15-20 hours per week
Base hourly rate plus incentive comp structure
