Position: Math Teacher (Part-Time)

Job Description:
- Keep current in subject matter knowledge and learning theory and is willing to share this knowledge for the continual improvement of the Spark curriculum
- Follow the established training and guidelines at Spark and able to teach 1:6 ratio
- Motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge to provide an effective educational foundation, in accordance with each student’s ability
- Refine assessment practices to establish goals and objectives for students using developmentally appropriate evaluation procedures, and regularly review progress with education consultant team
- Maintain accurate and completes student records and generates monthly progress reports as required to the family
- Act as a liaison between students, parents, and education consultant
- Teach virtual sessions with the ability to work all day on Saturday and accommodate the teaching schedule on weekdays
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree required with 1 year of teaching experience
- No teacher credential required but candidate must have a passion for education and mentoring students
- High SAT or ACT scores preferred; Upon hiring, candidate must pass the teacher qualification exam
- Familiar with Singapore Math Curriculum and Common Core State Standard
- Highly skilled, motivated, versatile, responsible, and dynamic individuals with strong communication skills
