Full Job Description
Math Tutor Needed
(Yes, the name of our company is Improve Your English. We are expanding our services. : ) )
$41.50 / hour for 1-1 tutoring, more for group classes.
We are an established English tutoring company expanding into offering math and science tutoring. We are looking for a math tutor with experience teaching middle and high school students. You should also be able to tutor the SAT Math section.
Must be available until June 2023
Tutoring will be online until the COVID situation is resolved.
Requirements
- BA, MA, or PhD in STEM field
- Ability to tutor up to BC Calculus
- At least two years of experience as a professional teacher or tutor of middle and / or high school students
- Experience with Singapore Math would be a plus, but not required
- Comfortable with teaching via video conference, online whiteboard, and google docs
