Full Job Description
ISO a guitar + ukulele private lessons teacher for our online music studio on Outschool, Mini Musicians Studio.
You will determine your own schedule (recurring each week), but we’re looking for someone who wants to work 5-10 hours during the week, preferably weekdays between 3pm-9pm EST and/or weekends at any time.
Ideal teacher would be someone who…
- Has an upbeat, energetic, engaging, and fun teaching style
- Positive, can-do attitude, self-starter, high-energy personality
- Certified music teacher and/or has a degree in music education
- Has experience teaching in a classroom setting or in private lessons with children
Responsibilities would include…
- Teaching Private Guitar and Ukulele Private Lessons through Zoom on the Outschool platform
- Communicating with your students + families
We work with students usually 8-12 years old, so most lessons are at a beginner level and many teaching materials and lesson plans will be provided for support if hired– we care more about the ability to encourage and connect with young learners than instrumental abilities.

Mini Musicians Studio is an online music studio specializing in guitar and ukulele classes for 8-12 year old students. We teach our classes through an online marketplace called Outschool and conduct all classes through Zoom calls. We believe that music education isn’t just about learning a new skill or hobby, but it’s about a student building their creativity, connections, and confidence through music. And to have fun doing it!
