Online Curriculum Development and Lesson Design Intern – Tribeca Language – Remote Part Time

We are looking for curriculum development and lesson design intern to assist with our learning materials.

This is a fully remote with college credit.

The intern will work closely with the director remotely.

Tasks include but are not limited to assisting in:

• Creating handouts and interactive activities

• Designing lesson plans

• Sourcing relevant media (songs, shows, Interactive videos, podcasts) to facilitate the learning process of students

• Sourcing images and illustrations

• Proposing engaging fun pedagogical activities

• Creating lessons and exercises

• Making demo videos

• Sourcing and ordering relevant books, online resources and learning materials

• Occasionally update social media with relevant language tutoring content

Qualification and Skills

• Currently enrolled in or graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Spanish, French or related field

• Detail-oriented, curious and creative

• Strong pedagogical skills

• Strong research skills

• Responsible, independent and positive

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

• Strong computer skills (Word, Photoshop, In design, Illustrator or Canva is a plus).

• Very creative with the ability to initiate new ideas and adapt easily

• Must be fluent in English

• Knowledge of French, Spanish (or any other foreign language) is a plus

• Previous experience as a tutor is a plus

• Interest in languages and bilingual education a plus

• Able to commit to 3 months remotely (15 a week, flexible schedule, fully remote). If located in NYC, we may meet in-person a couple of times.
