We are looking for a qualified NetSuite Developer to join our fast-growing business! The right candidate will be a motivated self-starter who is also a team player and eager to take on impactful projects. This is a remote 1099 contractor role.
This position will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing clear, quality code to develop the best solutions for our clients. You will test your code, identify errors, and iterate to ensure quality code. You will also support our customers and partners by troubleshooting any of their software issues.
Responsibilities
- Write endpoints that can connect to a custom PHP website, Magento and Shopify. For a Direct to Consumer and Direct to a Distributor model
- Interact with client and NetSuite functional resources to translate business requirements into system requirements, design specifications, and document new and/or existing application requirements.
- Works closely with business partners on providing a POV on technical and process recommendations and solutions
- Ensure that new or existing systems meet business requirements and practices and that all application interface issues/concerns are understood, documented, and addressed satisfactorily
- Develop well-structured, easily maintained quality code software and applications and perform test reviews. Prepare documentation of developed programs and processes
- Ensure deliverables are of the highest quality
- Prepares estimates for complex projects to provide management with information needed to forecast project delivery dates accurately
- Provide production support to existing systems
- Experience in advocating/designing solutions using third party (backend) integrations
- Participates in cross-functional efforts to build out web application platforms
- Works with technical team to devise or modify procedures/processes to solve a complex problem
- Detect and troubleshoot software issues
- Write clear quality code for software and applications and perform test reviews
- Develop, implement, and test APIs
- Provide input on software development projects
Qualifications
- Comfort using programming languages and relational databases
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- 3+ years of development experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in an iterative agile environment as well as a waterfall environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as problem-solving skills
- Flexible, team-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, and passionate

- Suite Script 2.0 – User Event, Suitlet, RESTlet
- Suite Builder – Custom Record, Field, Form, Advanced PDF/HTML Template
- Workflows via Suiteflow
- NetSuite Advisement on Constraints – API and Scripts Governance, Processing time and Performances
- Suite Cloud IDE – Eclipse
- NetSuite integration – Software Architecture Design, NetSuite API integration with third-party apps
