Made for Math is looking to hire a Multisensory Math Specialist, working a minimum of 21 hours per week. Read more and Apply here! You’ll know this is the right position for you if:

• You’re a research and pedagogy nerd
• At social functions, you’re the friend that says, “You know what the research says about that?”
• You seek software and tech to automate a lot of your busy work
• When you talk about your coworkers, you are talking about the pets in your house
• You love to solve the puzzle of a student who doesn’t learn like anyone else
• You like the idea of learning new software, as well as jumping in and finding the answer independently
• You love to play with fidget toys and love learning with pictures and games

Bonus points if…

• You’ve been trained by Marilyn Zecher in MSM1 or MSM2
• You’ve taught Math online
• You have a good sense of humor

This is a W2 position. We will pay you as you train and learn our Multisensory Math ways! We are not looking to hire contractors or summer-only workers.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree in Elementary Education, Secondary Education, or a Math-Related Field such as Engineering
• Good communication skills with kids
• Patient and can adjust to the mood of the student
• Able to not only teach but can do it in a fun and enthusiastic way
• Have at least 3+ years of teaching/tutoring experience
• Able to pass a math test up to 8th grade without a calculator
• Ability to teach between 1 pm-7 pm Pacific and or Mountain Time.
• Able to work 14 hours per week with students + 7 hours of lesson planning time for a total of 21 hours per week
