Merch Assistant for YouTube Channel with 3B+ Views – In The Black Media Consulting – Remote Part Time

Job description

We are looking for a versatile and highly-organized person that will handle the merchandise side of business by being a great communicator with team members, designers and factories for an exciting YouTube channel with 3B+ views. We need someone who is excited to work in a new environment and will make sure that the brand we are trying to build leaves a great impression on our fans and is representative of the channel and creator behind the brand.

We are looking for someone with e-commerce, Shopify store management, and merchandising experience to drove growth while working in close collaboration with a leading YouTube creator.

We also need a proactive go-getter, someone who excels at taking initiative, making decisions, and solving problems.

Responsibilities:

• Order and prepare all product samples

• Excellent communication skills to coordinate and manage relationships with clients and suppliers.

• Identify and take the necessary steps to overcome problems as they arise.

• Discuss products with vendors and factories to determine optimum prices and quantities.

• Track inventory; stock and restock merchandise.

• Follow up on all orders and upcoming shipments and complete balances as needed.

• Post merchandise designer hiring posts and screen them to find the best candidates.

• 2+ years of experience in merchandising preferred

• A proven track record of achieving excellent results with merchandising strategies

• You must also possess strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail

• Knowledge of Chinese language is a big plus

Job Types: Part-time, 20 hours per week, $40/hour
