Mental Health Professional – Mental Health Practice – Remote Part Time

1. Provides community support work to recipients, as assigned

2. May provide Psychosocial Skills Training to recipients, as assigned

3. Participates in staff training assignments, as requested

4. Assess, review or monitor a recipient’s status in relation to rehabilitation

5. Identify, report and maintain weekly appointments for community resources

6. Submit accurate, legible and complete weekly counseling notes and service logs

7. Arrange appointments and transportation for recipient’s psychiatrist visits

8. Participates in the agency’s Performance Improvement initiative (when applicable)

9. Assist and positively interact with other team members

10. Works independently, as needed

11. Functions well in a crisis

12. Accepts supervision

13. Returns calls promptly

14. Assists with other projects related to agency operation, as requested

15. Attends all scheduled staff trainings, team meetings, etc.…

16. Understands, acknowledges and agrees to adhere to Medicaid.

17. Acknowledges responsibility to participate in agency growth.

A) The following professionals are considered to be MHPs:

1. Social Worker

a. Has a master’s degree in social work from an accredited school of social work

b. Is a licensed clinical social worker (CSW) or LMSW under the provisions of R.S. 37:2701-2723

2. Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor

a. Has a master’s degree in counseling or psychology from an accredited school of social work

b. Is a Provisional licensed professional counselor

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
