Marketing Coordinator – Fairway Holdings, Inc – Remote Part Time

Position Background

The Marketing Coordinator position (part-time) supports the four business divisions of Fairway Holdings: Berco Designs, Oasis Berco, FG Library & Learning, and One Source Retail Hospitality. The ideal candidate will be local. Remote candidates, as well as independent contractors, will also be considered. This position reports to the Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing, with a dotted line to the President/CEO. Average weekly hours are estimated at 15-20. During peak times (e.g., annual meetings, new product launches), it may increase to 25-30 hours/week.

Position Responsibilities

Support the Vice President of Sales & Marketing and President by:

• Assisting in the development of an annual marketing plan and budget
• Collaborating with graphic designers and printers to develop new marketing materials (brochures, postcards, etc.) and maintaining inventory of all current materials
• Developing PDF sell sheets, PowerPoint presentations, and other sales tools using Canva or a similar design tool
• Sending emails to sales force with updates on products, pricing, events, and other relevant information
• Working with the Web developer to keep Berco Designs & Oasis Berco websites up-to-date. Keeping One Source Retail & Hospitality and FG Library & Learning websites current using WIX content management system.
• Writing basic marketing copy for use on the web and other digital and printed materials
• Assisting with the naming of new products, features, and programs
• Working with SEO firm to review monthly results and recommendations
• Designing and implementing social media campaigns
• Planning and managing trade shows, conferences, events, and meetings by identifying requirements, developing schedules, and coordinating with vendors and facilities managers.
• Other related tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Vice President and President

Position Requirements & Skills

• Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools, including social media platforms
• Solid computer skills, including MS Office, PowerPoint, and web analytics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Eye for detail; strong proof-reading skills
• Highly developed organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines at once
• Sense of urgency, ability to work with short deadlines when required
• Willingness to work with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or 1-3 years experience in marketing
• Background/familiarity with the Office Furniture industry a plus, but not required.
