Marketing and Communications Internship – KVLR Capital – Remote Part Time

Responsibilities Overview:

The Marketing Intern is responsible for the firm’s social media presence, including LinkedIn, Twitter, blogs, and KVLR’s company website. The ideal intern will manage communications to and amongst our team members, prospective clients, board members, and potential KVLR candidates. Additionally, the Marketing Internship program allows for the responsibility to manage all aspects of the firm’s brand. KVLR is focused on opportunity creation and provides support for interns seeking to enhance their career skills and do so remotely.

Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Media Affairs (Investor Relations, PR, and Internal Communications):

• Preparing press releases when expected
• Helping maintain a media presence via social media outlets
• Creating company website, newsletter, and blog content
• Providing general project support for any media & communications initiatives and events

Experience Required:

• Managing the creation of content in all phases, including articles, videos, podcasts, and white papers
• Conducting research on relevant macro-economic trends, competitive analysis, and marketing best practices
• Assisting in the publishing of content for the firm’s website, social media, and email marketing efforts
• Providing analytical support on marketing campaigns to identify trends and insights

Role Competencies:

• Candidate should exhibit strong organizational and communication skills
• Possess a strong interest in private equity marketing, healthcare, finance
• Self-motivated, outgoing, team-oriented individual who thrives in challenging, fast-paced environments
• Strong writing, analytical, quantitative/research, evaluation, and presentation skills
• Beginner track record in developing social media content
• Perform work with great attention to detail

Technical Skills and Qualifications Required:

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student
• Graduation date: Spring 2022 – Summer 2022
• Strong academic record (GPA transcript available upon request)
• Previous internship experience in Marketing, Corporate Finance, M&A, Social Media Content Creation (Experience in Private Equity preferred)
• Familiarity with marketing and online applications (e.g. HubSpot, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, Social Media Analytics, and Google Adwords)
• Fluency in English.

Duration: 3 Months

Start Date: May 2022

Compensation: College credits upon company and academic advisor approval.

Commute: Remote
