Full Job Description
A NEW YOU COUNSELING CENTER, PC is looking to add a licensed psychologist, professional counselor, or marriage & family therapist to our growing adult psychotherapy practice in:
Tennessee
North Carolina
Virginia
District of Columbia
Maryland
Kentucky
Alabama
Requirements:
A master’s degree in counseling, marriage & family therapy, or social work from an accredited academic program
A doctoral degree in counseling from an accredited academic program
Either a current LMFT, LPC, LMHC or Licensed Psychologist license
Strong clinical acumen and competence providing outpatient psychotherapy
Evidence of a high level of professionalism within the field
10 hours minimum per week to see clients
Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
Ability to respect diversity and integrate issues of culture into case conceptualizations
Ability to comply with clinical documentation standards and best professional practices
Ability to intervene decisively, when necessary, to protect patient safety
Also desired:
Flexibility to meet when patients are available to meet
Bilingual
As part of our group practice, you will receive referrals for clients. All credentialing, billing and office maintenance is managed by the practice, and you’ll have access to world-class practice management systems, including a telehealth platform. Hours are flexible and there is potential to move to full-time. Excellent opportunity to develop your niche market and skills.
