Full Job Description
Rivers of Healing LLC, a Christian private group practice in Maryland, is looking for a part time or full time psychotherapist to join our organization. Requirements include being fully licensed in the State of Maryland or DC or Virginia (LMSW, LCSW-C or LCPC, LGPC). Ideal candidate will be able to complete a background check and become paneled with major insurance companies. This is a REMOTE position with opportunity to see clients in person.
Candidate must be independent, driven, collaborative, knowledgeable in evidence based treatment practices, proficient in clinical documentation and willing to use an electronic health record. The potential candidate(s) will be hired as an Independent Contractor (1099 misc). Rivers of Healing receives client referrals who are non-christian, candidates do not have to be christian to qualify.

Requirements are:
- Experience providing Christian Counseling a plus or desired interest but not required
- Current State of Maryland, DC or Virginia, LCSW-C or LMSW or LCPC or LGPC
- Responsible for providing individual, couples, or family therapy for a minimum of 10 billable hrs. a week. Referrals are in high demand, case loads of more than 10 can be provided which means more income for you!
- Willing to complete a federal, state and child registry background check
- Willingness to obtain malpractice insurance upon hire of 1/3 million aggregate
- Must be willing to conduct sessions remotely
- Required education: Masters Level with respective licensure
Additional Requirements
- Performs quality assurance duties by reviewing clients’ medical records to assure the maintenance of proper standards of care.
- Regularly provides comprehensive mental health assessment for clients.
- Provides crisis intervention as needed
- Coordinates psychiatric and medical interventions clients
- Completes initial treatment plans and reviews for all active clients
