K-8 Mathematics & Physics Teacher – Spark Learn Tutoring, LLC – Remote Part Time

ABOUT

Spark Learn Tutoring is looking for passionate and experienced Math tutors who are looking to work with kids in grades K-8. You will be responsible for planning and providing appropriate learning experiences for students. Provide an atmosphere and an environment conducive to the intellectual, social, and emotional development of individuals to ensure success for every student.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a tutor you should be comfortble with teaching and helping students with the following courses:

• Grade KG – 5 Mathematics
• Math Course 1 / General Math 1
• Math Course 2 / General Math 2
• Pre Algebra (Math Course 3)
• Algebra I
• Geometry

QUALIFICATIONS

• A passion for helping students achieve their goals.

• Prior teaching experience and/or student teaching is preferred.

• Possesses outstanding knowledge and skill in the assigned instructional area and demonstrates enthusiasm for teaching and the learning process.

• Experience working directly with individuals and families from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Emotionally mature, objective, and sensitive to people and their concerns. Able to handle responsibility, work independently, and maintain collaborative working relationships with students, families, administration, staff, co-workers, and community agencies.
• Must be able to teach Elementary and Middle School Level Courses including the ones mentioned above.

COMPENSATION

• We generally pay between $18-$23per diem depending on experience, location, and a few other factors.
