Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a remote IT Project Management Intern to join our Program Management Team within the Ferguson IT organization. The ideal candidate will work full-time over summer 2022 with the potential to go part-time post fall 2022. This position is approved to sit 100% remote.
Project Management focuses on managing the plan, budget and scope for projects which aid in meeting technology goals for the organization. Within Project Delivery you will gain expertise in planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and the reporting of projects this summer. You will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects, get exposure to day-to-day operations and have a successful and meaningful internship.

JOB DUTIES:
  • Create reports that include demand and projects in flight
  • Gather data from delivery teams to keep reporting up to date
  • Generate and distribute all reporting (Daily, Weekly, and Monthly)
  • Assist with creation and standardization of Project Management templates
  • Schedule meetings for action tasks and update problem records / tasks accordingly
  • Attend meetings as needed and aid in drafting meeting minutes for stakeholders to review
  • Draft communications as needed
Qualifications:
  • The Ideal candidate will be a rising college senior
  • Ability to problem solve and think analytically
  • Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations to groups
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
