IOP Therapist – Square One Clinics – Remote Part Time

Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director, the IOP Therapist is responsible for providing high quality therapeutic services to clients referred for Substance Abuse and Mental Health counseling.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides quality therapeutic services to a caseload of clients, in both group and individual, and tele-health and in-person settings

• Develops and completes psychosocial evaluations and progress notes within the required timeframe within EHR

• Complies with company and other contractual and regulatory requirements

• Diagnoses client’s symptoms according to the current DSM/ICD codes and regulations

• Develops and implements appropriate treatment plan according to diagnosis

• Involves client and family members in treatment planning and decision making as appropriate

• Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum Master’s degree and completed internship from a FL licensed-eligible program that allows the practitioner to register as an intern in the social work, therapeutic mental health counseling or marriage and family therapy disciplines

• Previous experience providing therapeutic services to individuals with substance abuse history and developing treatment plans based on current DSM/ICD diagnoses. IOP group facilitation experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Must have the ability to provide sound clinical practices, including diagnosing according to current DSM and developing appropriate treatment plans

• Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and problem-solving skills

• Must have demonstrated skills in utilizing an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system efficiently

• Observing, analyzing and monitoring situations to ensure client safety

• Ability to adapt to changes in assignments, priorities and new job information

• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent listening skills

• Compassionate and empathetic with strong ability to establish and build trust

• Must be able to multitask with focus on timeliness, documentation, and communications with peers and business users alike

• Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels within the agency or outside the organization (all management levels, regulators, etc.)

• Results oriented, business focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $27.00 – $30.00 per hour
