IOP Coordinator – Embark Behavioral Health – Remote Part Time

Embark Behavioral Health is looking for people who are committed to our mission of reducing adolescent anxiety, depression and suicide to staff a Virtual IOP to serve the state of Maryland. Embark operates facilities across the US that support adolescents, young adults and their families by offering a full continuum of care from Long Term Residential and Wilderness Therapy environments to our IOP/PHP clinics to virtual outpatient care. Our Virtual IOP clinics are a critical part of our strategy to increase access to life-saving mental health treatments for families with insurance.

This position is critical to the overall group experience for our families in crisis. You must be available during our IOP hours from 4-7 pm EST Monday through Thursday and 9am-5pm EST Friday.

• Manage all scheduling for the IOP program, including clinicians and families including managing alerts in the EHR
• Facilitate entry during treatment session and track attendance/engagement during group

• Update attendance sheet nightly and ensure notes are uploaded to EHR within 24 hours

What do you bring to this position?

• A Master’s degree in mental health or related field. Licensed therapist preferred, not required.
• A desire to facilitate client growth through a team approach, working with other care providers.
• High attention to detail
• Previous experience working with adolescents is preferred
• Technology savvy, with experience with video technology and telehealth platforms
• Preferred – prior experience working with adolescents and young adults.
• The ability to run the technical side of telehealth sessions as well as experience using cloud-based communication software.
• Well versed in modalities such as DBT, TF-CBT and SMART Recovery.
• Ability to pass a state background check.
• This is a part-time/full-time role, depending on the candidate.
