HOT SHOT DISPATCHER – Big Tex Freight Runners – Remote Part Time

Big Tex Freight Runners is a Trucking company Delivering cargo throughout the United States. We are looking for an experienced HOT SHOT dispatcher To join our Team to provide excellent customer service to our drivers and customers. Due to the fast pace, it is preferable you have HOT SHOT Dispatch experience. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to

Use of load boards and ability to identify loads that are appropriate for the equipment in question

Call and inquire/ book loads with brokers in a fast paced environment

Send needed documents to brokers that require them

Inform drivers of booked loads and send them documents

Route drivers to where they need to pick up and drop off loads

Stay in contact and informed on how long driver has to deliver and drivers HOS ( hours of service ) to maintain compliance with DOT

Manage 30-40 calls per day

Track and trace shipments and drivers status via phone and GPS

Assist in expediting any problematic shipments as needed

And notifying clientele of any delays if encountered.

Must have following skills and requirements:

Minimum 2 years Dispatcher Experience (Some HotShot Freight preferred )

Microsoft Office skills
Strong typing skills
*Highly organized and DETAIL ORIENTED *

Able to provide superior, timely customer service
Must have a “sense of urgency” attitude

Management Experience a plus

Great phone skills must be able to adapt and make real time decisions as the trucking industry is fast paced and unpredictable

Work closely with Dispatching team giving and receiving timely updates on current developments

FOLLOW-UP SKILLS ARE IMPERATIVE.

PAY IS BASED ON LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE 5-10% OF EACH LOAD BOOKED

YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN PERSONAL COMPUTER

MUST HAVE ACCESS TO HIGH SPEED INTERNET

We are looking for a smart quick acting person to join our company and grow with us. You will have training and support as needed most holidays will be off. Work from Home PAY weekly bonuses and incentives based on performance.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $500.00 – $1,200.00 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

• Bonus pay
• Commission pay

Experience:

• Freight Dispatch: 2 years (Required)
• HOT SHOT: 2 years (Preferred)
