Looking to Hire: Backend Developer
Description of Business: AmedicaRx is an early-stage healthcare company that works with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and their patients. The mission is twofold: First, by increasing medication adherence for FQHC’s through data analysis and targeted SMS text messaging campaigns to their patients and second, by providing access to cheaper prescription drugs for each health center’s patient populations. The company is currently pre-revenue, with product development for the minimum viable product around 90% completed.
Description of Role: The developer to be hired will be taking over the current back-end development built on top of an AWS architecture using Serverless Framework for the backend and React for the front-end, divided as the following:
o Provider API: Serverless API (Lambda’s workings together via API Gateway)
o RxValet API Gateway: Serverless API (Lambda’s workings together via API Gateway)
o Provider Portal: React Application that uses AWS Amplify to communicate with the provider API (Hosted as static on AWS S3)
o Consumer Web Template: React Application that serves as a template for the dynamic website creator (Hosted as static on AWS S3)
o Landing Page: React Application for the landing page (Hosted as static on AWS S3)
This position is able to be done 100% remotely with no relocation necessary.
Requirements:
· 2+ years of experience
· No formal education required
· Display to team of portfolio of work
· Ability to integrate APIs with text messaging functionality and Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) logic and functionality in lock-step with front-end developer’s design work
· Genuine interest to work with an exciting group of people who are looking to improve the world by improving patient’s lives through affordable medications and increasing medication adherence within the Federally Qualified Health Centers that service them.
· Exceptional Communication Skills – Good listening that can synthesize information quickly
· English is primary language
Compensation: $50/hour and potential equity options with negotiations of a full-time placement and benefits to be discussed once the company has 1) reached MVP and is 2) generating revenue.
