One Simple Wish is looking for an inquisitive mind to join our small but mighty team to use their tech expertise for good!
Responsibilities:
Develop highly interactive, dynamic web applications
Design, write, troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software developed in PHP/MySQL
Practice standards of the Software Development Life Cycle
Troubleshoot code and constantly look to optimize the user experience
Work with JavaScript to support multiple interfaces into the core PHP based architecture
Server management using AWS services
Document new & existing features
Required Experience:
5+ years PHP & MySQL experience in LAMP environment
Some experience with AWS services
Proficient with PHP framework(s), Laravel a must
Proficient with JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, HTML5, CSS, REST, JSON and XML
Knowledge of working with 3rd Party API Integrations (REST/HTTP/SOAP/etc)
Dynamic website design and development
Demonstrate knowledge working on large-scale, high-traffic sites
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge in PHP5/PHP5.6 > and MySQL
Fluency with full-stack LAMP web development (PHP, MySQL, RESTful APIs, and JSON)
Laravel Framework
JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3
Experience writing and consuming web services (REST/HTTP/SOAP)
Knowledge of MVC, OOP principles
Certification in any of PHP framework is plus
Cross-browser/platform development experience advantageous
Mobile application development experience
Design skills
Server management with AWS
Certification in AWS solutions architect would be great
