Freelance Virtual Assistant (Temp Assignment) – Vanguard Virtual Assistants – Remote Part Time

Our virtual assistants support clients by offering a wide variety of services including (but not limited to):

• General administrative tasks such as sending reminder calls/emails to clients, email management, word processing, data entry, and expense management
• Calendar and meeting management tasks such as appointment scheduling and coordination, meeting preparation, meeting transcription, and relationship management
• Blogging tasks such as publication, moderating comments, and adding tags/images to posts
• Vendor management including research, selection, price negotiation, contract management, and relationship management
• Customer support services including order management, live customer support, and issue resolution for product/service
• Project management tasks such as project plan development and tracking, preparation of status reports, and oversee scope, change, and stakeholder management activities
• Social media management
• Perform in-depth research, collect data from the web, and provide analysis with the ability to identify patterns in the data

Independent Contractor Responsibilities

As an independent contractor, candidates agree to the following responsibilities in serving clients:

• Liaise with the client to clarify job requirements, as needed

• Gather materials needed to complete the assignment

• Oversee all assignments, from inception to completion

• Tailor your work style to suit the job specifications, as required

• Communicate assignment-related issues with the client as soon as they arise

• Ensure that assignments are completed according to stipulated requirements

• Finalize tasks by predetermined deadlines

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency using Trello for project management activities
• Proficiency using QuickBooks for performing expense management and customer invoicing
• Able to work EST hours

Desired Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication – including appropriate use of spelling, grammar, and professionalism
• Ability to use common online work tools such as MS Office Suite or Google Drive to complete client deliverables
• Ability to work independently, set short-term and long-term goals, and measure productivity
• Professional, thorough and organized with strong follow-up [and follow through] skills
• Ability to learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately
• Comfortable working in an environment that requires a mix of phone and video based client engagement
