Founded in 2018, Way Creative House is a full-service digital agency servicing corporate clientele and early-staged (funded) startups. We are looking to hire a stellar Freelance UX & UI Designer that will work alongside our team building exciting new projects and producing novel technologies for the public interest technology space.

Requirements

• Design effective user experiences from concept to launch
• Lead project execution to translate corporate and business brand, marketing, and content strategy into data-focused and research-backed user experience design proposals

• Apply the philosophy from which user-centered design (UCD) and many innovation frameworks have emerged: design thinking
• Develop a deep understanding of internal and external target audiences, and their user journeys in each business vertical and for each company function

• Ensure final products are grounded in empathy
• Take an iterative approach to problem-solving

Requirements

• Minimum of 7+ years’ consistent track record as a successful UX/UI designer with a strong portfolio of past projects

• Ability to provide portfolio of work examples
• Ability to lead UX research phases in addition to interface design
• Experience designing for multiple screen sizes and novel hardware displays beyond web and mobile

• Ability to organize and conduct requirements elicitation workshops with partners, guide discussions towards required outcomes, and synthesize requirements into user-centered design
• Strong project management skills
• Origami and motion design software experience is a plus

• Ability to work with creative leaders and offer UI design recommendations in support of Brand, Content, and Visual Design goals
• Hands-on experience using design, wireframing and mockup tools like Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc
• Design and refine components and patterns, establishing and iterating on foundations and frameworks, and creating clear and concise documentation on specs usage principles

• Proven experience crafting for e-commerce user journeys and interactive UI solutions
• Experience delivering and maintaining design systems and pattern libraries
• Successful integration of accessibility standards and considerations into the design process
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
• Ability to effectively articulate sophisticated concepts, thoughts, and ideas in oral, written, and visual forms
• Able to produce results independently as well as collaboratively in a team
