JOB TITLE: Engineman (EN) Subject Matter Expert (SME)
STATUS OF POSITION: Part-time, remote
SUMMARY: The EN SME provides technical support and verifies accuracy of subject matter and data collected for this effort.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required.
- Provide assistance to Instructional Designers, Graphic Artists, and Software Engineers relating to instructional content.
- Review lessons for accuracy.
- Explain technical processes to others in a concise, technical, and professional manner.
- Complete assigned tasks that are technically correct, thoroughly self-checked for quality control, and are submitted according to the agreed upon schedule.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None at the current time.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 5 years of active duty experience as an EN.
- Separation from the Navy should be no greater than 5 years.
- Instructor experience is a plus.
