Computer Science and Server Management (Remote)

GreenTree is an asset management firm specializing in cross border real estate investment banking in China and the USA.  This is an online/ remote internship. It is up to the applicant’s discretion to choose a start and end date (the dates listed on the posting are flexible).  You will be given a short finance quiz to test your background and passion in finance and IT.    

Responsibilities:  

  • Write scripts to automate our workflows
  • Create and Implement a workflow for our CRM systems and investor database
  • Setup Servers and VPNs on Ubuntu for remote access
  • Organizing our investor database using data management techniques
  • Use email scrapers to update our investor database

Qualifications:  

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, proactive work style.
  • Ability to work independently towards a goal, efficiently managing time and resources.
  • Proficiency in business software, esp. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
  • Energetic and hardworking individual with a willingness to learn
  • Ability to prioritize workload when required
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Coding languages such as JavaScript, C++, PHP, etc. will be appreciated, however, this is not a requirement

While this position is unpaid, it can be used to receive course credit at partner universities.
