Educational Internship, Remote
In Flight Music Group is a Los Angeles based Label / Publisher, Recording Studio (@madmusestudios), and Events company (@writersblocksongwriters).
We have an educational A&R / Marketing internships (remote) available in our Events department, specifically with our Nationwide Industry Songwriter Showcase, Writer’s Block (Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, Seattle, Dallas) @writersblocksongwriters
Applicant must be music-minded & have the ability to efficiently research / locate talented up and coming songwriters in cities across the United States. Attention to detail is imperative.
Tasks will include:
– A&R (researching up & coming talent and adding to our main directories)
– Social Media Management
– Mailing List Creation
– Assorted tasks as they relate to each event
Interns will become versed in advanced marketing techniques utilized to capture new audiences/demographics, while becoming exposed to the inner-workings of the music business as a whole.
Those that excel will be called to work on special in-studio projects with @writersblocksongwriters at Mad Muse Studios, our 5,000 sq. ft recording studio in Downtown Los Angeles that has serviced clients such as Kesha, Andy Grammer, The Head & The Heart, Candlebox, Lizzy Hale, and more!
This position takes grit and is an opportunity for a hustler.
Must have availability 2 days per week.
Internship duration = 3 months.
School Credit is offered.
Job Types: Part-time, Internship
Pay: $0.10 – $0.20 per hour
