About You
If you are a licensed teacher who taught or currently teaching Computer science A in high school, you have the confidence to help students achieve 4+ in AP computer science A, we love working with you.
Responsibilities:
– Lead small group students in the online classroom using online classroom software to teach the curriculum provided by The FutureSphere.
– Review and help with student’s homework/questions
– Communicate via Zoom or Google Hangout and video conferencing call with ELT on a regular basis
– Ability to adapt curriculum and lesson flows to support any technical or social demands that may arise during the program
Qualifications:
– Competent presentation, and communication skills
– Confident and energetic character welcomed
– Expert in AP Computer Science A
– Reliable high-speed Internet access and computer
Preferred:
– College degree or equivalent teaching experience
– Experience in afterschool/camp setting/leading a classroom is a plus
– Chinese Mandarin is a plus
Compensation:
-This is a remote part-time job.
