Full Job Description
The Streit Council seeks an Analysis Intern located in Washington D.C. to work remotely this summer.
As an independent, non-partisan, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, The Streit Council works to unite established democracies as the basis for greater individual freedom and international stability. Weaving academic and policy research, it provides expert analysis and perspectives on the historical and contemporary dimensions of inter-democracy relations, and their prospects and potential in an increasingly interdependent global context.

Duties:
- Produce written analyses on transatlantic relations, European affairs, or international order
- Edit research papers and journal article submissions
- Attend events, and compose reviews and responses (optional, but encouraged)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Relations, History, Political Science, Public Policy, or related fields (current students are also encouraged to apply)
- Demonstrated interest in U.S. foreign policy, the European Union, or world organization
- Strong analytic, research, writing, and editing skills
- Archival research experience is a plus but not required
